Growing up in the presence of chronic ailments, seeing how they’re treated, you see first hand the mind, body and spirit connection with long-term health. She grew up with a brother who is a chronic asthmatic with a host of allergic issues, and then witnessed both her parents becoming cardiac patients at a very young age, made her stop and think.

“When you know you’re swimming in this kind of gene pool, you have to believe you can make your own destiny. I changed my lifestyle and became holistic at the age of 15 without even knowing it, and long before it was fashionable”.

Preventative health became her mantra and her lifestyle.

Holistic Nutrition has the philosophy of treating the whole person and not the diagnosis of disease. It’s the everyday preventative medicine, keeping our bodies in balance to remain healthy throughout life. Prevention! Now that is something she can get behind.

Once she finished her first year of Holistic Nutrition at Toronto’s Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, she knew she wanted to continue her education into homeopathy. The Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine offered classical homeopathic training that aligned with the nutrition training- treating the whole person and not just the diagnosis. What a great duo of modalities! Nutrition is easy to understand, it’s something we do 3-6 times a day and although it is preventative it’s not curative. Homeopathy works deeper than nutrition, it works at the tissue level, for deep healing, it can be curative. Plus the added bonus that homeopathic medicines are safe for everyone at every level of health. Prevention and deep healing without harmful side effects, what could be better!
