Dr. Ben Reid

Dr. Benjamin Reid’s path into chiropractic was shaped by both personal experience and a deep curiosity about how the body heals.

Originally trained as a chef, years spent in the fast-paced culinary world left him with chronic headaches and physical strain. It was through receiving chiropractic care during that time that he experienced firsthand the body’s remarkable ability to heal and adapt when given the right support. That experience ultimately set him on a new path—one rooted in helping others reconnect with their health.

Dr. Reid first transitioned into healthcare as a Registered Massage Therapist, and later went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Dalhousie University. He graduated with highest honours from both his massage therapy and chiropractic programs, and went on to teach orthopedic assessment and manual techniques to massage therapy students.

His approach to care is both hands-on and highly individualized. With a strong foundation in both chiropractic care and massage therapy, Dr. Reid integrates his skills to support each patient in a way that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and aligned with their goals. His adjusting style is primarily hands-on, and he places a strong emphasis on truly listening and meeting each person where they are.

Dr. Reid believes that healing is most effective when patients feel informed and empowered. Education, lifestyle guidance, and simple, supportive home care strategies are all woven into the care he provides, allowing patients to take an active role in their healing process.

He has additional training and experience in working with athletes, supporting individuals with TMJ dysfunction and chronic headaches, and providing care throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Reid is an avid runner, enjoys mentoring and teaching, and volunteers his time with Epilepsy Toronto

Natalie Villeneuve, MSW, RSW

Natalie Villeneuve has always been drawn to helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strengths. Her passion for supporting others led her to pursue a career in social work, where she could combine compassion, curiosity, and evidence-informed care to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Western University and her Master of Social Work from McGill University. Today, Natalie is a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist who works with adolescents and adults in a private practice setting.

Natalie’s approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person is more than the challenges they face. She views wellness through a whole-person lens that considers mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Alongside her academic training, Natalie has pursued learning through Indigenous-informed perspectives that emphasize connection, balance, community, and wholeness. This broader understanding of wellness shapes the way she works with clients and helps her create a therapeutic experience that is thoughtful, individualized, and deeply respectful. She has particular experience working with trauma, including childhood experiences, sexual abuse, and the lasting impact difficult life events can have on a person’s sense of self and relationships.

Natalie believes therapy should be a collaborative process. Rather than focusing on what is “wrong,” she works alongside clients to better understand their experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. She enjoys helping adolescents and young adults explore identity, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions, while also working with adults seeking greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being. For Natalie, therapy is about creating a safe space where people can explore their stories and move forward in a way that feels meaningful to them.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time in nature with her dog, Milou. Whether she’s exploring local trails, enjoying the outdoors, or simply soaking up some sunshine, she finds that connection with nature plays an important role in her own well-being. Natalie is also passionate about movement and physical activity. As a Muay Thai practitioner, she has experienced firsthand how movement can contribute to both physical and emotional wellness. This perspective often informs her work, helping clients explore healthy ways to reconnect with their bodies and build resilience in everyday life.

Natalie understands that reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring whatever has brought them through the door. She is proud to be part of the team at Hands On Health Family Chiropractic and looks forward to helping individuals discover new perspectives, build confidence, and move toward greater well-being.

Marwa Alz, Aesthetician & Reiki practitioner

Marwa Alz is an aesthetician and Reiki practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. She believes every client deserves personalized care and a treatment experience that reflects their unique goals, concerns, and preferences. Known for her calm and welcoming presence, Marwa strives to create an environment where clients can relax, recharge, and enjoy dedicated time for themselves.

Marwa’s interest in skincare began through personal experience. After facing her own challenges with acne, she became fascinated by skin health, skincare products, and the many factors that influence the appearance of the skin. What started as a personal interest soon developed into a professional calling. She completed her aesthetics training in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and began working in the aesthetics industry in 2019. Following her move to Etobicoke in 2023, Marwa established her own practice and continued building a career focused on helping clients achieve their skincare goals through individualized care and education.

She completed Reiki certifications in both Nova Scotia and Etobicoke, expanding her understanding of holistic wellness and creating opportunities to incorporate additional relaxation-focused experiences into her work. Marwa appreciates that every client is different. Some visit her primarily for skincare services, while others are looking for an experience that encourages relaxation and personal renewal. Her approach allows space for both.

Outside the treatment room, Marwa enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, reading, and exploring topics related to mindfulness and personal development.
She is passionate about continual growth and believes learning is a lifelong process. Whether through professional education or personal exploration, she enjoys discovering new perspectives that help her better serve her clients and community.

For Marwa, the most rewarding part of her work is building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them feel valued, comfortable, and cared for. She is proud to be part of the team at Hands On Health Family Chiropractic and looks forward to welcoming clients seeking personalized beauty and wellness services in a warm, relaxing environment.

Kelsey Hernandez, Office Manager

With nearly a decade of administrative and customer service experience across Etobicoke’s many neighbourhoods, Kelsey has developed a genuine gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. It’s that love of human connection that drew her to the clinic in the first place. For her, teamwork is everything, and she finds real meaning in being part of a team that shows up for patients every single day.

Kelsey understands that some days feel heavier than others. Whether someone walks in carrying stress or physical pain, she knows that a warm smile and a kind word can help them feel more welcome during their visit. That simple truth is what keeps her motivated. She takes pride in being a steady, comforting presence for patients, and in making every interaction feel personal and unhurried.

Outside the practice, Kelsey spends much of her free time painting, illustrating, and embroidering handmade gifts for the people she loves. She also can be found at a live concert, out birdwatching, enjoying a quiet walk through the city, or spending quality time with loved ones. She’s a firm believer that rest and recharge are just as important as the busy parts of life, and that philosophy fits right in with the wellness-centred values of Hands On Health Family Chiropractic.
